Marie White brings a lifelong passion for aviation and a career’s worth of hands-on experience across the airline industry. With a degree in Occupational Safety & Environmental Health, she combines scientific expertise with a deep understanding of aviation safety and compliance.

Over more than a decade in the industry, Marie has developed deep subject-matter expertise across operational safety, regulatory compliance, and quality systems. Her career spans a unique blend of frontline and strategic roles - from working on the ground at a regional airport to conducting complex industrial hygiene assessments and leading international audits of airports, maintenance providers, cargo facilities, and fueling operations. She has directed Safety & Compliance at a major global hub and led Quality oversight for Flight Operations, Inflight, and Dispatch - translating regulatory requirements into practical, high-impact improvements in performance and culture.

In 2023, Marie founded SAGA Aviation Consulting, stepping away from airline life (and the woes of standby travel) to focus on helping clients solve complex regulatory and operational challenges. Dangerous Goods compliance has been a consistent thread throughout her career, and today, SAGA specializes in aligning safety, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence across the aviation sector.
